I remember one night I was so depressed and I felt like I was so far
away from the Lord. I knew I hadn’t read my Bible in such a long time
which was something that I was really having trouble with and every time
I tried to read God’s Word I would get so distracted by something else
in my mind. After many week of this it really made me so depressed
about my relationship with the Lord. That night I was in my bed and I
started to cry really badly and I knew the Lord really still loved me
so I said a long prayer to Him telling Him how much I needed Him and
how much I loved Him, and so on. One thing in particular I prayed for
was that I would somehow be able to read His Word more faithfully and
with a passion. That morning I felt refreshed and my mom told me about
the 90 day bible challenge she had hear about on the radio that night.
I went right away on the radio’s site and got a schedule for this Bible
reading. That morning I started reading with this schedule. Ever since
that day I have had a passion and a true love for reading God’s Word
and now it means so much to me. I use this schedule over and over again
and it really works for me. This is the best schedule I had ever used and I plan to never give it up!!
My daily tasks as a working mom gets me busy right after I opened my eyes. With this guide it helps me a lot to focus first my eyes to my savior and Lord Jesus. Now I having a great time with my Lord and experiencing this i can now pass it on to my co-workers. I'm praying that it will make a lot more difference in my place of work the knowledge that derived from the words of our God, everytime I read it. Thanks to you for all the researches & efforts your giving to your brethren in Christ.
i have given/surrendered my life to Christ but have not read the bible through. i realized this is what i lacked--the complete word of God in my mind and heart and soul. i can either serve the distractions of the world that keep me from reading or i can serve the Lord by obeying his word by first reading it to know how/what to obey. i am going on this reading diet for 90 days sunday 9/23/09 and then continue reading it as my guide for eternity. no turning back, my hands are set to the plow,
I too have felt separated from God and I know it is my fault. I was listening to a Christian program and heard about this reading plan. I have so often tried to read through the bible and became distracted due to lack of discipline. I believe that I will succeed this time, thank you.
This is a dynamic experience. For the first time I got a total picture in one sitting or a short space of time of events in the Bible. It is refreshing and strengthening especially if you wake up in the morning and read for two or more hours. I plan to do it twice a year. In this manner I would know the Bible by heart in the long run. My life has been transformed and the passion for the Word has grown..
